A little about me
I'm a medical intern at HBT Medical College and Dr. R.N. Cooper Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, where I completed my MBBS.
Alongside clinical training I've been involved in research, including a systematic review and meta-analysis on the impact of diabetes on mortality in pulmonary hypertension, published in the World Journal of Critical Care Medicine, and a cross-sectional study on anxiety and depression in patients with cardiovascular disease.
Outside the wards, much of medical school went into organising: serving on the state council of the IMA Medical Students Network in Maharashtra, leading marketing and recruitment at AIESEC in Mumbai, and running community service projects with the Rotaract Club of Medicrew. I'm now preparing for postgraduate training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, with the long-term goal of specialising in fetal surgery.
